Security and Data Handling

Plugin Nature

PureData IDM Sync is a SaaS-based plugin that is configured to be directly installed in your PowerSchool instance, providing an integrated experience.

Authentication

We use APIs to authenticate with Google Workspace or Microsoft Azure AD using a Client ID and Secret ID. For provisioning, a generic admin account is required.

Data Transfer Protocol

The solution leverages the capabilities of PowerSchool, Microsoft, and Google APIs to ensure encrypted, robust, and seamless data movement.

Encryption Standards

Our encryption practices are in line with industry standards, guaranteeing the safety and security of your data both during transfer and while stored.

Data Usage by PureData

Stage 1: Data Fetching Process for PowerSchool

Data is fetched from PowerSchool using the PureData PowerSchool API Plugin.

Stage 2: Loading the Data to Middleware

After fetching, the data is transformed and loaded into a middleware. Our infrastructure is built on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and utilizes AWS Private Cloud Network, EC2 instances, and other highly secured services.

Stage 3: Middleware to Google Workspace or Microsoft Azure AD (Entra ID)

The final stage involves using the stored data to create or manage accounts in Google Workspace or Microsoft Azure AD.
