Talha Yousuf Updated

This article provides a step-by-step guide on how to use the PureData PowerSchool Behavior Management plugin to mass-create log entries in PowerSchool to give positive points to students who meet certain criteria, such as perfect attendance, passing all classes, or good behavior.

How to Create Positive Points

  • Open PowerSchool Admin
  • Go to PureData Behavior Management
  • Click on Functions
  • Under the Assign Positive Points section, select the report for which you want to mass-create positive points. You can choose to give points based on perfect attendance, good behavior, or passing all classes.
  • Select filters such as dates or grade level to narrow down the selection of students, and then click on the "Search" button.
  • This will show the students who meet your selected criteria.
  • Click on "Next: Create log entries for the selected students".
  • In the pop-up window, select the log type, subtype, and points value, and enter any other information you want to include as part of the log entry.
  • Click on "Create".

After completing these steps, a log entry will be created for each student with the positive points assigned according to the criteria you selected.
