Grades Distribution by Sections

This dashboard helps you understand how grades are distributed in each courses and sections, along with the overall average percentage.

Dashboard

1. Main Area: This section shows the average score and grades distribution.
2. Filters: You can select filters to narrow down your results. 
3. Student Listing: List of student names.   

Filters:

1. Grade Type:
   1. In-Progress: Shows grades from teacher's gradebook
   2. Historical: Shows grades from historical table. 
2. School: 
   1. District: Shows results for all the schools
   2. School: Shows results for selected school.
3. Store Code:
   1. Based on your Grade Type filter, the options you will see in this filter will vary. By default, the results are based on all the terms but choose a specific term to get the correct result. For example "16-17 S2" will give you results for only 16-17 S2 term. 
4. Teacher:
   1. View the result by All teachers or select a specific teacher. 
5. Subject:
   1. View the result by All subjects or select a specific subject. 
6. Grade Level:
   1. View by All grade levels or select a specific grade level.
7. Grade:
   1. View by All letter grades or select a specific letter grade.
8. Group by Course Name or Section:
   
   1. You can group the results based on course names or by sections. 

Main Area:

1. Courses:
   1. The courses/sections are sorted by the lowest average score on the top.
2. Overall Distribution:
   1. Each bar represents the distribution % for the letter grade.  
3. Hover or Click:
   1. You can hover over or click on any of the sub section to narrow down your results. 

Student Listing:

1. Student Names:
   1. View the student names based on your selected filters. 
2. Total Records:
   1. Shows the total unique counts. 
3. Hover Over student names:
   1. Tool Tip: Shows student detailed information such as course name, teacher name, percentage and letter grades. 
   2. Click on "View Student PS Info" - Takes you to PowerSchool directly to student grade information.  

How to get Course Average for each Section?

1. Select the filters from the right hand side
2. The Avg. Score column shows the average score for each course.
